Cingjing and Hehuanshan: getting there, altitude and key tips

Stay a night at Cingjing: Hehuanshan’s 3,000 m peaks are a short drive further up, but few buses go there. From Taichung high-speed rail station, take a bus to Puli and change to Nantou Bus 6664 for Qingjing Farm.

How long have you got?

• A day from Taichung: Cingjing Farm’s grassland and the skywalk.
• A night: add sunrise or stars on Hehuanshan. You’ll need a car, a tour or the seasonal shuttle.

When are you going?
